The 2nd day of the visit of General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of PNA, in the 4th Military Region in Ouargla
During the second day of his visit to the 4th Military Region, the General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of the PNA, supervised this Tuesday morning, 15th November 2022 in the North-East Operational Sector In Amenas, the execution of a sectorial tactical exercise with live ammunition “ISSAR 2-2022”.
On this occasion, the General followed, in company of Major General Omar TELEMÇANI, Commander of the 4th Military Region, a presentation presented by the Major General Commander of the North-East Operational Sector In Amenas, relating to the general idea of the exercise and the stages of its unfolding.
At the shooting range of the Operational Sector, the General closely followed the combat actions carried out by engaged units of land, air and territory air defence. These actions which were characterized, during all phases, by professionalism and a high tactical and operational level, once again confirm the rigor in the performance of actions both in terms of planning and execution, and reflect the competence of the executives in terms of setting up and conducting the various operations, as well as the know-how and mastery, by the personnel, of the various weapon systems and equipment made available, thus contributing to the achievement of the objectives drawn.
This tactical exercise, carried out with live ammunition, aims to test the combat readiness of Sector units, including the refuelling system deployed in the field, to train unit commanders and staffs in the conduct of operations and to develop their knowledge of planning, preparation, organization and execution, while putting them in the conditions of real combat.
At the end of the exercise, the General congratulated the units personnel, for the efforts made during the preparation and the execution of this tactical exercise with live ammunition, which was sanctioned by very satisfactory results, translated by the precision of the firings with the various weapons and the perfect coordination between the various engaged Arms and Forces. The General urged all the personnel to take advantage of the positive results obtained, so as to further increase the operational skills of the Battle Corps, in this sensitive sector, in particular, and of the People’s National Army, in general.
At the end, the General inspected the units of the North-East Operational Sector in Amenas as well as the formations that took part in this exercise.
