General, Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of PNA, on a working and inspection visit to the 5th Military Region
Within the framework of his working and inspection visits to the various Military Regions and major units of People’s National Army, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army began, this Wednesday 16th November 2022, a two-day working and inspection visit to the 5th Military Region in Constantine, where he will hold an orientation meeting with the personnel of this Region and will inspect industrial units of People’s National Army.
After the welcoming ceremony, given at the headquarters of the Regional Command, General accompanied by General Major NourEddine HAMBLI, Commander of the 5th Military Region, observed a minute’s silence in memory of Chahid ZIGHOUD Youcef whose the headquarters bears his name, and laid a wreath of flowers in front of his commemorative stele, before reciting the Fatiha on his soul and that of our brave Chouhada.
At the headquarters of the Region Command, General held an orientation meeting with the executives and the staff of the Region, where he gave an orientation speech, followed via videoconference by all the personnel of the Region, through which he stressed that the spirit of November and its immutable principles are the only values able to mobilize the youth of Algeria and motivate them to contribute effectively to the building of their country:
“As the month of November continues to inspire us, we have great faith that the spirit of this sacred month and its national and eternal principles, which made the Glorious Revolution of Liberation triumph, are the only values able to mobilize the youth of Algeria and to motivate them to contribute effectively to the construction of their country, to guide them on the path to greatness and renewal, and to unite the factors of their socio-economic development.
These are, objectives of great nobility, the achievement of which requires the establishment of a serene environment, of stability, security and tranquillity. An objective that the People's National Army is working to achieve, alongside all the other security sectors, through the pursuit of combination efforts aimed at definitively cleaning up our country from the scourge of terrorism; which requires bringing together all the factors able to contribute to the strengthening of our capacities in all areas”.
General stressed that the support of the President of the Republic is part of the strengthening of Algeria's security and its national defence capabilities, recalling that Algeria will remain great and worthy thanks to its patriotic and loyal children:
“The support of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, is part of the strengthening of Algeria's security and its national defence capabilities.
I have not the slightest doubt that thanks to patriotic men like you, Algeria will remain great and proud, with all that it symbolizes in terms of values, principles, particularities cultural and civilizational affiliations, and despite the underhandedness insidious of the plotters who work to sow discord, these will be defeated, thanks to you and your fellow citizens among the faithful children of Algeria”.
At the end, General followed the interventions of the personnel and inquired about their concerns.
