General, Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of PNA, on a working and inspection visit to the Promotion Group of Mechanical Industry in Ain Smara/Constantine
On the second day of his visit to the 5th Military Region, General, Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People's National Army carried out, this Thursday 17th November 2022, a working and inspection visit to the Promotion Group of Mechanical Industry in Ain Smara, wilaya of Constantine and at some other military manufacturing establishments in the 5th Military Region.
After the welcoming ceremony, General held a meeting with the executives and the staff of the Promotion Group of Mechanical Industry, in presence of Major Generals Noureddine HAMBLI, Commander of the 5th Military Region and Salim GUERID, Director of Military Manufacturing. On this occasion, he addressed an orientation speech followed via videoconference by all the personnel of the industrial establishments located in the 5th Military Region, under which he affirmed that the High Command is constantly working to promote military manufacturing, in all their sectors, to reach the capacity to take charge, locally, the mission of developing and manufacturing materials and equipment of People's National Army, so as to attain self-sufficiency in this vital area:
“The promotion of military manufacturing, in its various sectors, is a concern for People's National Army High Command and should also be so for all actors in this sector, including those involved in research and development, in its different specialties.
The efforts made in this context, in light of orientations of President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, aim to enable us to take charge, ourselves, in the mission of developing and manufacturing materials and equipments of People’s National Army, able to cemented its operational capacities, increase its performance on the ground and reduce its dependence on foreign countries, by achieving self-sufficiency in this vital area”.
General added that the achievements recorded in all Military Manufacturing components, thanks to the sincerity of efforts, testify the success and the power of People's National Army, and make it proud in the same way as the noble missions with which it is invested:
“Thanks to the sincerity of efforts, all these achievements have been obtained by all the components of our military manufacturing. These effective achievements, enabled this vital sector to reach an appreciable level of development and allow People's National Army to meet the requirements of a strong army, proud of the crucial missions assigned to it and of the growing confidence shown by our valiant people”.
At the end, General inspected several workshops of the Promotion Group of Mechanical Industry and some other military manufacturing establishments in the 5th Military Region.
