General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of PNA, chairs a working meeting with the executives and the personnel of the Military Health, at the National School of Military Health, in the 1st Military Region

      General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, chaired, this Monday, 07th November 2022 at the National School of Military Health, in the 1st Military Region, a working meeting with military health executives and medical personnel.

  

      After the welcoming ceremony, the General accompanied with the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence and the Central Director of Military Health Services, held a meeting with the executives and the personnel of military health. On this occasion, he addressed an orientation speech followed via videoconference by the personnel of the military medical corps deployed across all the Military Regions. In this regard, he stressed that the establishment of an effective military health system, able to provide global medical coverage for the benefit of our personnel, is a permanent concern for the High Command of People's National Army:

  

      "I would like, in this circumstance, to emphasize that the establishment of an effective military health system, able to provide our personnel a global and high-quality medical coverage, particularly in terms of management and complementarily of roles between the various military health establishments, constitutes a permanent concern for People’s National Army High Command.
      In addition, the great and the multiple achievements recorded on the ground or in progress of completing in the military health sector, as well as all the other sectors, are real testimonies of the sustained efforts made by People's National Army High Command, thanks to the unfailing support of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence".


      On the same occasion, the General affirmed that the importance of the health care for People's National Army personnel, all necessary material means have been gathered for the benefit of this important sector, in terms of infrastructures and equipments or in terms of training and qualifications of personnel:

  

      "Conscious of the importance of the health care for People’s National Army personnel and their beneficiaries and its impact on improving their performance, we make sure to gather all the necessary material means for this important sector, in terms of infrastructures and equipments or in terms of training and qualification of various specialties of the medical staff.
      In this context most important infrastructure projects in progress, are registered, such as the Military University Hospital of Staoueli, the Mother and Child Military Hospital of Beni Messous, as well as the regional hospitals and projects relating to medical support planned in the Six Military Regions".


      The General also urged all the concerned officials to provide more efforts to promote the quality of medical care for military personnel at the expected levels:

  

      "In this same context and in order to help this sensitive sector to fulfil its missions, perfectly, it is up to all the concerned managers to provide more efforts to promote the health care of military personnel at the expected levels, particularly by forming a competent human resource, able to ensure qualitative health services, up to the expectations of the personnel, and being in tune with the development process, in which People's National Army is resolutely committed.
      Competence and aptitude are the only criteria, which serve as a guide for us to encourage human potential, value their accumulated experience, and encourage them to provide more efforts in the service of our army, which is constantly working to benefit experience, professionalism and know-skills of its executives to acquire even more power and combative efficiency".


  

      In the end, the General delivered a set of guidelines, particularly on the necessity to guarantee the best health care for the patients especially the wounded and the invalids, and to assure the maintenance of the available medical equipments in military hospitals.
