IMDEP.. Organization of a round table entitled: "Geopolitics of rare earths"
In concretization of scientific activities program for the year 2022, the Military Institute of Documentation, Evaluation and Prospective of the Ministry of National Defence, organized, today Monday, 28th november 2022, at National Army Cercle in Beni Messous/ First Military Region, a Round Table entitled: "Geopolitics of rare earths".
The opening of this scientific event was chaired by brigadier General, Director of the institute, in the presence of executives of PNA, experts and university researchers, representatives of ministerial departments, as well as specialized national companies. In his speech, the Director of the Institute emphasized the hightened interest shown by the High Command of the PNA in this type of scientific activity dealing with current issues on a strategic scale with a forward-looking vision and a scientific approach to analyze and win major national and international challenges.
During this event, the audience followed several interventions, during the geopolitical and strategic challenges related to rare earths were discussed, in a world characterized by climate change and a migration towards renewable energies, and the highlighting the strategic importance of the development of this field in Algeria aimed at promoting its position and its prospects.
