Within the framework of fight against terrorism and thanks to the efforts of People’s National Army Forces, one (01) terrorist surrendered, yesterday, 12th September 2022, to the military authorities in Bordj Badji Mokhtar in the 6th Military Region. It is about the terrorist called “TERAMZI Ahmed Ben El-Bachir”, known as “Omar” who had rallied terrorist groups in 2012 in the Sahel region. The aforesaid terrorist had in his possession:

• One (01) submachine gun type Kalashnikov;
• Two (02) ammunition chargers;
• Twenty-seven (27) ballets of 39 × 7.62 mm calibre;
• One (01) Transmitter / Receiver.

      This high quality operation reflects, once again, the effectiveness of the approach adopted by the High Command of People’s National Army to overcome terrorism scourge and to bring security and calm to the whole country.
