General, Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of PNA on a working and inspection visit to the 5th Military Region
Within the framework of the supervision of the execution of the 2022-2023 combat preparation program at the level of People's National Army units deployed throughout all Military Regions, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People's National Army, began from today Sunday, 30th April 2023, a working and inspection visit to the 5th Military Region in Constantine.
At the 1st Armoured Division, and after the welcoming ceremony by Major General Noureddine HAMBLI, Commander of the 5th Military Region, the General chaired a meeting with the executives and the staff of the Region, where he delivered an orientation speech followed by all the personnel of the 5th Military Region via videoconference, under which he reaffirmed that the perpetual cohesion of the Algerian people with their nationalist and loyal command and with their constitutional institutions, is the only guarantee for the preservation of the security and stability of our country:
"I have stated on previous occasions and I reiterate again today that we are deeply convinced that the only guarantee to safeguard the security and the stability of our country and to defeat all the subversive plans that are hatching in the shadow and in broad daylight resides in the perpetual cohesion of our valiant people with their nationalist and loyal command and with their constitutional institutions.
Within People's National Army, as we carry out our missions under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, We have bet greatly on the loyalty and noble feelings experienced by our people towards Algeria, which needs the efforts of all, efforts based on mutual aid and solidarity, but also in the unfailing and imperative attachment to serve Algeria and to contribute to the consolidation of its security, its stability and its national sovereignty".
The General also stressed that the Algerian people are an authentic people who have been forged by hardships and experiences, and that they have values, principles and an ambition that allow them to pursue the path development, progress and prosperity:
"It is a noble responsibility, the successful accomplishment of which is also part of the essence of our missions, stemming from our loyalty to the message of our valiant Chouhada, who fought to guarantee the present and the future of this dear homeland.
A promising future that our country has all the necessary factors and the ingredients for its realization on the ground, thanks to the great resources and natural wealth at its disposal, but more importantly, it has an authentic people, who have been forged by the hardships and experiences, and holds values, principles and an ambition that allow it to pursue the path of development and progress, to become a real power, on all levels and in all areas".
At the end, the General followed the interventions of the executives of the Region, and gave them a set of orientations relating, in particular, the imperative to continue the efforts of preparation for combat with seriousness and rigor, so that the battle corps of People's National Army maintains the highest levels of operational availability.
