On the second day of his visit to Brazil, General, Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People's National Army participated in the opening ceremony of the 13th edition of the Defence and Security Exhibition (LAAD-2023), which is held in Rio De Janeiro in the Federative Republic of Brazil. This exhibition is the largest event of its kind in Latin America in the field of military industry and defence systems. More than 80 countries and 340 companies in the armament sector took part in this edition.


      On the sidelines of the opening ceremony, General, Saïd CHANEGRIHA met with the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Lieutenant-General Fayad Ben Hamad Al- Ruwaili. The two parties examined on this occasion the ways and the means of consolidating cooperation in the military and security fields.


      General Saïd CHANEGRIHA also had several meetings with officials of Indian companies taking part in this exhibition, and held a working session with officials of the Brazilian aeronautical construction company "Embraer". Then, the General visited the various pavilions of the Exhibition (LAAD-23) in order to inquire about the latest technological developments in armaments and military industries.
