General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of PNA Staff receives in audience Major General FAN Jianjun, Director of the Office of Technical Cooperation and Equipment of the Equipment Development Department of the Central Military Commission of People's Republic of China and Mr JIANG Jian, Chief Executive Officer of the company “CATIC”
General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of People's National Army Staff, received in audience, this Tuesday, 19th December, 2023 at the headquarters of the General Staff of People’s National Army, Mr. Major General FAN Jianjun, Director of the Technical Cooperation and Equipment Office of the Equipment Development Department of the Central Military Commission of People’s Republic of China.
During this meeting, which was attended by Majors Generals and Generals of the General Staff of People's National Army and the Ministry of National Defence, as well as members of the Chinese delegation, the two parties held discussions on the state of military cooperation between the two countries, as well as on ways to strengthen it in the future, particularly in the field of defence industry.
It should be noted that this audience takes place on the sidelines of the commemorative festivities of the 40th anniversary of Algerian-Chinese cooperation in the field of defence industry, which constitutes indisputable proof of the depth, solidity and continuity of cooperative bilateral relations between Algeria and China.
At the end of this meeting, the two parties exchanged symbolic gifts.
In the afternoon of the same day, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of People's National Army Staff, also received an audience at the headquarters of People’s National Army Staff, Mr. JIANG Jian, Chief Executive Officer of the company “CATIC”, accompanied by representatives of the said company. During this meeting, the two parties discussed joint industrial projects and ways of their diversification, while emphasizing the need to raise the level of technological transfer.
