People's National Army’s Units named after the Moujahideen and Chouhada of Our Glorious November Revolution
Within the framework of commemoration of the National Day of the Chahid, coinciding with 18th February of each year, headquarters and buildings of People's National Army were named, on 16th and 18th February 2023, in the names of Moudjahdine and Chouhada of our Glorious War of Liberation.
In this wake, General-Major HAMBLI Noureddine, Commander of the 5th Military Region, supervised on 16th February 2023, the baptizing ceremonies of the headquarters of the Territorial Grouping of the National Gendarmerie of Setif and the headquarters of the 16th Intervention Group of the National Gendarmerie in the same wilaya respectively, in the names of Chouhada "AGGOUNE Ahmad" and "KHOUDIR Merabet".
In the first Military Region, General-Major SIDANE Ali, Commander of the Military Region, supervised on 16th February 2023 the baptizing ceremony of Reconnaissance application School in Chlef / 1st MR in the name of Chahid "ZENATI Mohamed ".
On 18th February 2023, the Commander of the 1st MR supervised the baptizing ceremony of the 11th Mixed Brigade headquarters in Djelfa in the name of the late Moudjahid "CHANEGRIHA Abdelkader".
Also, General-Major TLEMSANI Omar, Commander of the 4th MR supervised the baptizing ceremony of the headquarters of the Center of Thermalism and Rest of PNA in Biskra and the headquarters of the Territorial Group of the National Gendarmerie in El Oued, respectively, in the names of Chouhada "BENABBA Mbrouk" and "KEMOUDI Larbi" known as "Taleb Larbi".
In addition, Major General ADJROUD Mohamed, Commander of the 6th MR supervised, on 16th February 2023, the baptizing ceremony of the headquarters of the 6th Detection and Control Radar Brigade in the name of Chahid "BEKDIR Mohamed".
In the wilaya of Djelfa, the Commander of the 12th Motorized Infantry Division supervised the baptizing ceremony of the Territorial Information Center of the wilaya in the name of Chahid "DAHMANE Ahmed".
These ceremonies were attended by officers and executives, as well as local authorities, alongside the families of the Chouhada who were honored on the occasion.
