General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of PNA, on a working and inspection visit to the Public-Economic Company Foundries of Rouiba
General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army carried out, Sunday 05th February 2023, a working and inspection visit to the Public-Economic Company Foundries of Rouiba.
This visit comes within the framework of interest paid by People’s National Army High Command to the permanent monitoring of the performance of the industrial establishments under People’s National Army, especially those recently integrated within economic sector of Ministry of National Defense under the tutelage of the Directorate of Military Fabrications.
After the welcoming ceremony, accompanied by Commander of the 1st Military Region and Director of Military Fabrications, in presence of Central Directors of People’s National Army General Staff, the General followed an exhaustive presentation on the Public-Economic Company Foundries of Rouiba including its missions, departments and its different products, before visiting available workshops. Moreover, he examined and received more detailed explanations on manufacturing stages of different products made by the company, which reflects the good quality of national products.
Afterword, the General had a meeting with the executives and the personnel of the company where he delivered an orientation speech through which he expressed his pleasure to visit the Public-Economic Company Foundries of Rouiba which was integrated recently within the economic sector of Ministry of National Defence, and under tutelage of the Directorate of the Military Fabrications.
“At the beginning of my intervention, it’s a pleasure for me to express my full gratitude and happiness to carry out this working visit to Public-Economic Company Foundries of Rouiba, integrated in accordance with orientations of President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, and placed under the tutelage of the Directorate of Military Fabrications.
The Minister of National Defence seeks to develop national military industries, based on the localisation and technology transfer, diversifying its fields of activities and products offered on the national market, in a way that enables the military industrial base to enhance its important role in revitalizing the industry of our country”.
The General emphasized the use of the long and the rich experience of this grand national company in the field of the mechanical industry, and this, within the framework of an integrated strategy which aims to raise our country to the rank of industrialized countries:
“Through the integration of this grand national company, we are taking care to take advantage of its long and rich experience in the field of the mechanical industry, to enhance the know-how of its human resources, and this, within the framework of an integrated strategy which aims to gradually satisfy the needs of our Armed Forces, support the national economy, absorb unemployment, encourage subcontracting and increase national integration rate, through the development of a local high-quality and high-tech industry, able to hoist our country to the rank of industrialized countries.
To be achieved, these objectives involve the continuous improvement of the knowledge and know-how of executives and personnel, as well as the quality of military fabrications”.
On this occasion, General expressed his conviction that the personnel of this company fulfil their duty, being perfectly aware that they are serving the national interests of their country and perpetuating the message of valorous Chouhada:
“I am certain that you are fulfilling your professional duty at this great industrial society, being aware that by doing so, you are serving your country, and contributing to the consolidation of the requirements of its national defence.
I take this opportunity to convey to you the greetings and the encouragement of President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, who places his trust in you to accomplish your missions with all required seriousness, loyalty and professionalism”.
At the end of this visit, the General made a point of inquiring about the concerns of the personnel and the employees of this company, who expressed their determination to take up all the challenges in order to make this company an industrial pole and a source of pride for all Algerians. Then, he proceeded to the signing of the company Guest Book.
