General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army in working and inspection visit to the Higher School of Transmissions in Kolea

      General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, carried out, Wednesday, 22 February 2023, a working and inspection visit to the Higher School of Transmissions in Kolea in the 1st Military Region, where he visited infrastructures, commodities and presided a meeting with executives and trainees.

  

      After the welcoming ceremony, the General followed, in the presence of the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence, the Commander of the 1st Military Region, the Chief of Department of Transmissions and command-control Systems as well as Chiefs of Departments and General officers of the Ministry of National Departments and of the People’s National Army General Staff, an update on the pedagogical and infrastructural aspects of this prestigious training establishment, presented by the commander of the school. After that, the General visited the pedagogical infrastructures, especially the didactic laboratory and the directorate of information and Command Systems teaching, before following a presentation on the engineering project of career officer’s students.

  


      During the meeting with the executives, the personnel and the trainees of the Higher School of Transmissions, the General delivered an orientation speech, followed via videoconference by the executives of Transmissions Arm, at the level of all the Military Regions, where he underlined the crucial importance granted by PNA High Command to the Transmissions arm, which played an important role in the coordination and the operations monitoring during the glorious revolution of liberation:

  

      «The High command of People’s National Army grants a crucial importance to the Transmissions Arm because of its vital role in time of peace and of war.
      Indeed, the telecommunication sector is the nerve of the glorious revolution of liberation, the men’s will, who were in charge of the issue, made with few and simple means and equipment of that time, the hearing sense of the fighter, which allowed enemies movement capture throughout the vast territories of Algeria, a successful actions coordination and operations monitoring.
      Transmissions, rooted from the revolution, progressed thanks to the first generation of People’s National Army which provided huge efforts to grant this arm with human and materiel capacities, able to fulfil its assigned noble missions.


      The General highlighted the determination of PNA High Command to promote this arm according to the advanced evolution which knows the world in the field of communication, by gathering all necessary human, material and monitoring conditions:

  

      «Today, we are more than ever determined to promote this vital arm at the level that corresponds to the increasing developments that our world is experiencing in the field of telecommunications.
      Under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, and thanks to his support and guidance, we will work with all our strength to ensure that this missions are completed by professionals, which possess modern technologies, hence, are called upon to ensure their maintenance and rational operation, but even more to master their modern techniques, through the training and qualification of operating personal.
      As such, I would like to emphasize the close and interdependent relationship that exists between the training process and the combat preparation process.
      Indeed, the level of combat readiness naturally reflects the quality of education and training received. This shows how important it is for the Chiefs of the training establishments, at the various levels, to take this aspect into account and to take advantage of the experience of units in the field, and to ensure, together with the central concerned structures, to coastally make the necessary improvements to the content of the training programmers».


      At the end of this meeting, the General gave a series of guidelines to the managers and executives of this sensitive arm of PNA battle corps, insisting again on the maintenance in condition of the means and equipment provided and the redoubling of efforts, aiming to guarantee the accomplishment of the assigned missions in the best conditions.
