In accordance with the instructions of the High Command of People's National Army, aiming to strengthen efforts and vigilance in order to preserve operational readiness at its highest level, to face any possible threat to the security and the stability of the country. The year 2022 was distinguished by great results in the fight against terrorism, against smuggling, arms trafficking, drug trafficking and organized crime, through the neutralization and arrest of a significant number of terrorists, the dismantling of several support networks and the destruction of a large number of casemates and shelters used as refuges for terrorist groups, as confirmed by the following results:
