Within the framework of fight against terrorism and thanks to the efforts of security services of the People's National Army, the terrorist named “Bey MALAOUI” known as “Mokdad”, surrendered, on 18th January 2023, to the military authorities in Bordj Badji Mokhtar in the 6th Military Region. The said terrorist, who had joined, in 2012, terrorist groups activating in the Sahel region, had in his possession one (01) submachine gun type Kalashnikov, one (01) charger and a quantity of ammunition.

      This operation confirms, once again, the effectiveness of the approach adopted by People's National Army and the efforts made by our Armed Forces on the ground to overcome the scourge of terrorism in our country, and establish security and tranquillity throughout the national territory.
