General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of PNA, visiting the Military Academy of Cherchell " Late President Houari Boumediene"
General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People's National Army, conducted this Saturday, 8th July 2023, a visit to the Military Academy of Cherchell "the Late President Houari Boumediene", on the eve of the annual graduation ceremony that will be hosted by the Academy tomorrow Sunday.
After the welcoming ceremony, The General, Chief of Staff of PNA, and in the presence of the Land Forces Commander , the Commander of the 1st Military Region and the Commander of the Military Academy of Cherchell, chaired an orientation meeting with the executives, professors and students of the Academy, where he delivered an orientation speech, for the occasion, through which he underlined that the Academy constitutes a mirror that reflects the major steps taken by PNA in the field of strengthening its military capabilities:
"I am pleased to be here today at the Military Academy of Cherchell '' the late President Houari Boumediene '', on the eve of the graduation ceremony for the 2022-2023 promotion’s school year. I consider, without any exaggeration, that this prestigious training establishment is a mirror that reflects the major steps taken by PNA in the field of strengthening its military capabilities. Beyond its reputation and its symbolism, this Academy is also the crucible where all the weapons and forces are based and the basic military concepts are unified for our future military elites.
In this context, the High Command of PNA continues, in accordance with the directives and instructions of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, to deploy all the necessary efforts, in order to confer more efficiency and professionalism, not only to our training apparatus, but also to all the components of our armed forces, the objective being to achieve optimal availability, worthy of a professional and imposing army, whose motto the defence of the people and the homeland, and for the legitimate ambition of occupying the first ranks in terms of regional superiority".
At the end of this visit, the General inaugurated some infrastructures offering many services which will certainly contribute to bring together all the appropriate conditions for the students of the Academy.
