General Said CHANEGRIHA, Chief of the People’s National Army Staff, on an official visit to the Russian Federation
At the invitation of General CHOIGOU Serguei, Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, General Said CHANEGRIHA, Chief of the People's National Army Staff, begins an official visit, starting today, Monday, 31st July 2023, to the Russian Federation.
This visit, which is part of the strengthening of cooperation between the People's National Army and the Russian Armed Forces, will allow both parties to examine issues of common interest.
The General was received at the tarmac of the Moscow airport by the General Alexander FOMINE, Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation Defence, and Dimitri CHUGAEV, Director of the Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation of the Russian Federation, where the Chief of the People's National Army Staff had an official welcome, alongside the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, where the national anthems of Algeria and Russia were listened to, followed by a military parade performed by units of the Russian Army.
The General had a meeting in the airport's VIP lounge with General Alexander FOMINE, Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation Defence, and Dimitri CHUGAEV, Director of the Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation of the Russian Federation, in the presence of the Algerian Ambassador to Russia.
