On the second day of his visit to the 1st Military Region, General, Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People's National Army carried out, today Saturday, 17th June 2023, a working and inspection visit to the 12th Mechanized Infantry Division units, where he inquired about the level of combat preparation program execution of this important unit and the personnel’s working and living conditions exercising in the located in this region.


      Subsequently, the General visited two units of the Djelfa garrison, where he inaugurated their new headquarters, visited their services and infrastructure and received exhaustive explanations about them. On this occasion, the General stressed the need to continue providing efforts to improve the working conditions of the personnel, in particular by working to listen to them at all times and to establish a climate of direct contact. In addition, he urged the whole staff to ensure the preservation of the infrastructure and equipment provided and their periodic maintenance in order to stay at the highest levels of the required availability.



      At the end, the General inspected the Military Field Hospital, deployed in EL-Idrissia in the Wilaya of Djelfa in the 1st Military Region, whose mission is the medical care of the inhabitants of the region. A field hospital which has all modern equipment necessary for medical examinations and surgical operations. To this end, the General stressed the importance of guaranteeing good care for citizens, in particular the inhabitants of isolated localities.
