Second day of the visit of General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of PNA, to the 3rd Military Region
On the second day of his visit to the 3rd Military Region, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff PNA supervised, this Tuesday 09th May 2023, the conduct of a tactical exercise with real ammunition "EL-FASL 2023", executed by units of the 40th Mechanized Infantry Division supported by combined arms units from different Forces.
In this context, the General followed a presentation given by the Commander of the 40th Mechanized Infantry Division, relating to the main idea, the stages and the objectives of this tactical exercise, before following its progress. At the Hamaguir shooting and manoeuvres polygon, in the presence of Major General Moustapha SMAILI, Commander of the 3rd Military Region. The combat actions of this exercise were carried out with professionalism, both tactically and operationally, reflecting the great capabilities of the crews and Commanders at all levels, particularly in terms of exploiting the field, coordination between the participating units, assembly and conduct of operations, as well as mastery of use of the various weapon systems and equipment made available, which contributed to obtain very satisfactory results reflected in the precision of the shots and strict compliance with the plans drawn up and the timings.
At the end, the General met the personnel of the units that took part in this tactical exercise, which was crowned with great success, on all levels, particularly in terms of planning, preparation and execution, demonstring the level of preparation of leaders and staff, as well as the skills of commands and staffs. The General congratulated the executives and personnel of the units that took part in this exercise for the great efforts made throughout the 2022-2023 combat preparation year, emphasizing the need to move forward in developing of all the components of PNA to strengthen the confidence of the Algerian people in the present and the future of their country.
