      Within the dynamics of the efforts provided by the various units of our Armed Forces in the fight against terrorism, and following a search and raking operation carried out on 10th May 2023 in the area of Ain Kasseria in Sidi Mesbah, near the town of Brodj Al Emir Abdelakder, willaya of Tissemsilt in the 2nd Military Region, and during a clash with a terrorist group spotted by detachments of People's National Army, Captain TENAH Mohamed fell as a martyr on the field of honor.

      In this painful circumstance, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People's National Army presents his sincere condolences and deep compassion to the family of Chahid Captain TENAH Mohamed, praying to Allah the Almighty to grant him His Holy Mercy and to welcome him into His Vast Paradise.

      The operation that continued allowed the surrender of the terrorist group and the capture the four (04) members, namely:
      - The terrorist: BELAGBANE Rachid, known as Oudaï, who joined the terrorist groups in 2003;
      - The terrorist: ZOUABER Hamza, who joined the terrorist groups in 2016;
      - The terrorist: NOUAOUER Bilal, having joined the terrorist groups in 2016,
      - The terrorist: KHEBBAZ Ibrahim known as Abdelouadoud.

      This operation was crowned with the recovery of three (03) submachine guns type Kalashnikov and one (01) semi-automatic rifle type semonov, a grenade and quantities of ammunition and other effects.

      An operation adds to the results of the various operations carried out by the detachments of People's National Army in the fight against terrorism which allowed to put a large number of terrorists out of harm's way, in particular by their arrest, surrender or elimination. These high quality results reiterate, once again, the determination and the resolution of the units engaged in the fight against terrorism to cleanse our country of the residue of terrorist groups and to eradicate this scourge from our national territory.
