Within the framework of the intense efforts of various detachments and units of People's National Army in the field of fight against terrorism and in the wake of the quality operation carried out recently at the level of the military sector of Tissemsilet in the 2nd Military Region, which resulted in the capture of (04) terrorists, and the recovery of a batch of weapons and ammunition, and following the efficient use of the information provided by the captured terrorists, detachments of PNA carried out excavation and research operations on May 17th, 2023 at the level of the Ain-Defla military sector in the 1st Military Region which enabled the recovery of a batch of weapons and ammunition, namely:

• One (01) 60 mm caliber mortar;
• One (01) "FMPK" type submachine gun;
• Two (02) shotguns;
• Two (02) "Simonov" type semi-automatic rifles;
• Three (03) repeating rifles;
• Two (02) shotguns ;
• Two (02) "Colt" type automatic pistols;
• Four (04) chargers;
• Nine (09) shells for 60 mm mortar;
• (1646) bullets of different calibers;
• Four (04) grenades and other effects.

      This quality operation reiterates the effectiveness of the approach adopted by People's National Army High Command for the eradication of terrorism from the entire national territory, as well as the determination of the units of our Armed Forces to pursue residues of terrorism where they are.
