Within the framworck of the fight against multifaceted organized crime, the services of the National Gendarmerie arrested, on 11th May 2023 in Tamanrasset in the 6th Military Region, a group of bandits.


      This operation which intervenes following the efficient exploitation of information, render harmless the members of this gang composed of (03) criminals it’s concerns: "B. Mohamed", "L. Youcef" and "T. Ghali". During this same operation, one (01) submachine gun type Kalashnikov, (103) 7.62x39 calibres bullets, four (04) ammunition magazines, two (02) all-terrain vehicles and cell phones were recovered.


      The members of this criminal gang who attacked citizens by using weapons, were presented before the public prosecutor at the Tamanrasset court where they were placed under a detention warrant for the charges: constitution of an association criminals and spreading terror among the population by using weapons, possession and use of weapons of war and first category ammunition without authorization and crime of theft by using weapons.

      This operation reiterates the determination of the units of the People's National Army and the various security services engaged throughout the national territory for the protection of citizens and to fight organized crime in all its forms.
