Second day of the visit of the General, Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of PNA in the 4th Military Region.
On the second day of his visit to the 4th Military Region, the General, Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People's National Army, supervised today, Tuesday 7th March 2023, at the Operational Sector South- east Djanet, a tactical exercise with live ammunition.
First of all, the General accompanied by Major General Omar Tlemçani, Commander of the 4th Military Region, atended a presentation given by the Commander of the South-East Operational Sector Djanet, about the general idea and exercise steps.
This tactical exercise with live ammunition aims to assess the combat readiness of the units of the Operational Sector South-East Djanet, their ability to carry out potential combat actions, the degree of mastery of combat means and modern weapons systems. ,as well as to train commands and staffs to prepare for defense and optimize their knowledge in the field of planning, preparation, organization and execution of operations under real battlefield conditions.
At the shooting range of the operational sector, the General followed the progress of the various combat actions carried out by the land and air units involved. These actions were characterized by high professionalism during all stages of the exercise and by a high tactical and operational level which confirms, once again, the rigor in the conduct of operations both in terms of planning and execution, and reflects the high skills of the executives in terms of planning, conducting and coordinating the various combat actions, as well as the know-how and capacity of personnel to master the various systems of weapons and equipment provided.
At the end, the General met the personnel of the units that took part in this tactical exercise with live ammunition, in order to carry out a general evaluation of the performance of the participants, before congratulating them for the efforts granted throughout the preparation and execution of this exercise, which was crowned by very satisfactory results, reflected in the precision of the firing with the various weapons and the perfect coordination between the units and weapons involved. The General also urged all personnel to make use of the results obtained in the development of the operational capacities of the battle corps of the People's National Army in General.
Finally, General reviewed the units of the South-East Djanet operational Sector and the various military formations involved in this exercise.
