General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of PNA, on a working and inspection visit to the 6th Military Region
Within the framework of working and inspection visits to the various Military Regions and major units of People's National Army, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of PNA, carries out, from this Wednesday 15th March 2023, a working and inspection visit to the 6th Military Region in Tamanrasset.
After the welcoming ceremony given by Major General Mohammed ADJROUD, Commander of the 6th Military Region, the General observed a moment of silence in memory of the late Moudjahid "Hibaoui El-Wafi" whose headquarters Commandment bears his name, and laid a wreath of flowers at his commemorative stele, before reciting the Fatiha in his memory and that of the brave Chouhada.
Then, the General held a meeting with the executives and personnel of the 6th Military Region, and delivered an orientation speech, broadcast via videoconference to all the units of the Region, in which he highlighting the active dynamic that Algeria is currently experiencing, at all levels, thanks to the far-sighted decisions of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Ministers of National Defense:
"Thanks to the far-sighted decisions of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, Algeria has recently recorded an active dynamic at all levels, reflected in particular by the implementation of relevant economic reforms and the consolidation of social policies aimed at protecting the underprivileged strata, restoring the notoriety of the State and the brand image of Algeria on the international scene.
The multiple visits of foreign delegations, civilian and military, to our country fall within this framework and rightly reflect the important place occupied by Algeria at the regional and international levels, as a reliable partner that inspires the respect and consideration of all countries, thanks to its attachment to international legality and its judicious and balanced positions towards the various conflicts and tensions in the world".
The General said that this positive dynamic, badly perceived by the enemies of Algeria, makes them go after it and against its institutions and try to harm its brand image. He added that the Algerian people, bound body and soul to their army and security forces, will be able to thwart all their designs:
"This positive dynamic that our country is experiencing has not been appreciated by these enemies of the people and their followers, to the point where they seem to be losing their minds. Unable to find any other means, they mobilize their media outlets and paid writers, they try to damage the image of Algeria, by attacking its institutions and questioning its historical and geographical references. Moreover, these ramblings have reached an intolerable threshold, affecting our national sovereignty and our territorial integrity for which millions of brave Chouhada have sacrificed themselves.
These conspirators should know that the valiant Algerian people, bound body and soul to their army and security forces, and fully aware of the instigators of these perfidious plans, will know in due course how to defeat their plots and foil their aims, determined that it is to deter anyone who would dare to tread even a tiny parcel of its blessed land or attempt to undermine its national sovereignty".
At the end of this meeting, the General gave the floor to the personnel, to express their opinions and concerns. Moreover, as the holy month of Ramadhan approaches, he took this opportunity to present his best wishes to them, as well as to all the personnel of People's National Army, their families and loved ones, wishing them all a Ramadan mubarak.
Subsequently, the General chaired a working session where he followed an overall presentation on the general situation within his jurisdictional territory, before giving a set of instructions and orientations, including the imperative to be more vigilant and to redouble efforts in order to bring all the conditions of security and peace of mind for citizens throughout the entire territory of the Region.
