Second day of the visit of the General, Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of PNA in the 6th Military Region
On the second day of his visit to the 6th Military Region, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People's National Army, supervised, today, Thursday 16th March 2023, at the Sector Operational of In-Guezzam, the execution of a tactical exercise with live ammunition entitled "ASSIFA TIRIRINE 2023".
The General followed, in the company of Major General Mohamed ADJROUD, Commander of the 6th Military Region, a presentation presented by the Commander of the Operational Sector of In-Guezzam, relating to the General idea and the stages of progress of the exercise.
At the firing range of the said operational sector, the General closely followed the combat actions carried out by the land and air units engaged. These actions were characterized by high professionalism during all stages of the exercise and by a tactical and operational level, which confirms the rigor in the conduct of operations, both in terms of planning and execution, and reflects the skills of the executives in terms of setting up and conducting the various combat operations, as well as the know-how and capacity of the personnel to master the various weapon systems and equipment provided, thus contributing to the achievement of the set objectives.
This tactical exercise with live ammunition aims to test the combat readiness of units in this Operational Sector, as well as to train the commands and staffs in the field of planning, preparation, organization and execution of operations in real battlefield conditions.
The General congratulated the personnel of the units that took part in this exercise, for the efforts made during the first phase of the year of combat preparation 2022-2023, as well as during the various stages of preparation and execution of this exercise which was crowned by convincing results, translated by the precision of the shootings with various weapons and coordination between the engaged units and weapons. the General urged all the personnel to take advantage of the results obtained in the development of the operational performance of the battle corps of the People's National Army.
At the end, the General inspected the military formations and units that participated in this exercise.
