In the circumstances, the General, gave a speech at the start of which he congratulated the female personnel, all categories combined, military and civilian, on the occasion of their international day. He also highlighted the vital role that the Algerian Woman plays, through her contribution in the efforts to defend the country and to face barbaric terrorism, as well as in her effective contribution in all sectors:

"This meeting, which constitutes a new opportunity to pay tribute to our personnel of the female gender, to whom we express all the marks of esteem and gratitude for the vital role played by the Algerian woman, through her contribution in the efforts to defend the country and preserve the legacy of our brave Chouhada, as she did during the Glorious Revolution of National Liberation, where she gave the best examples of sacrifice and abnegation for freedom and emancipation.
I will not fail, on this occasion, to recall with you these eternal images of the Algerian woman, of the heroism she has shown in the face of bloodthirsty terrorism and in the face of blind violence, holding arms with bravery and determination in the various villages, douars and mechtas against the traitors of the Nation, recoiling before neither threat nor criminal act to continue to carry out its missions in the institutions of the State.
It has also contributed and still contributes, in the greater part of the effort to build national identity, through the education of several generations imbued with national values, and the preservation of the ancestral traditions of Algerian society, in taking advantage of its know-how in all sectors, such as education, teaching, health, administration, economy and defence".
The General stressed that no one can deprive the Algerian woman of her right to be proud of her achievements, because the exploits she has achieved are the fruit of her competence, her determination and her perseverance, reiterating the Commitment of the People's National Army High Command to protect and promote the role of women in all areas of the military profession:
"As such, no one can deprive the Algerian woman of her right to be proud of her achievements, mother, sister, wife and active woman who has struggled and fought to make Algeria as strong and prosperous as it is. is today. It is our duty to all of us to show respect and esteem for the feats she has been able to achieve thanks to her skill, determination and perseverance, and to protect and encourage her to move forward.
We have made giant strides within the People's National Army, of which we are proud, particularly in terms of promoting the role of women in all areas of the military profession and we are working, as a High Command, to meet all the necessary conditions. A company that has materialized on more than one level, through the convincing results achieved in the operational, sporting and technological fields, where the distinction of the female gender has become a reality and an honour.
One of the fruits of this accompaniment is the distinguished career that the women's national military team continues to achieve in the discipline of parachute jumping, where the women military personnel have shown steely will and determination, in accessing this specialty which was, in the near future, reserved for his male colleague.
I would also like to point out that we are proudly awaiting, next year, the release of the first class of female combat aircraft pilots, who will come to reinforce the battle corps of the People's National Army, which will constitute undoubtedly a quality contribution to the efforts of our Air Force in the defence of our national airspace.
At the end, the General honoured a number of military and civilian personnel of the female gender as well as female personnel of the various constituted bodies.
