Continuing his official visit to the People's Republic of China, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of People's National Army Staff, on Friday, 17th November 2023, carried out a visit to the Naval Base in Shanghai, where he was received by the Commander of the Naval Base. General and his accompanying Delegation received a presentation and explanations about the tasks of the above-mentioned base and the vessels and naval equipments at its disposal. Then, General signed the base’s guestbook and took a commemorative photo on the occasion.



      At the same naval base, General visited the frigate Chan Ju docked at the base, where he was given military salutes and honours. After that, General toured the frigate’s sections, where he received comprehensive explanations about its tasks and the technical and combat characteristics of this frigate. General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, during his inspection of the various sections of this frigate, took a closer look at the Chinese naval technology used in the field of building warships.



      After that, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA visited the Chinese company (CSTC), a subsidiary of the group (CSSC), which specializes in the manufacture of ships, especially military warships, where he followed a detailed presentation about the activities of the said Company and its production capabilities, as well as the recent developments of this type of industries.

      General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of People's National Army Staff, arrived on evening of Thursday, 16th November 2023, to Shanghai. where he held a meeting with the Brigadier General Shu Shi Jin, Political Commissioner of the Chinese People's Liberation Army in Shanghai, during which the two parties discussed the process of bilateral military cooperation between the two armies.
