The President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence presides a reception at the Army’s National Circle
On the occasion of commemorating the 69th anniversary of the Glorious Revolution of 1st November 1954 outbreak, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid TEBBOUNE, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, presided on the evening of Wednesday 1st November 2023, at the Army’s National Circle - Beni Messous, A ceremony in honour of Senior Officers in People's National Army, including staff and retirees, in the presence of a number of senior state officials. The President of the Republic was received at the entrance of the Army’s National Circle by General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People's National Army.
This ceremony, which falls within the framework of the ancient traditions of People's National Army that aims to honour our various glorious historical milestones and commemorate the souls of our righteous Chouhadas, was attended by the President of the National Assembly, the Prime Minister, and members of the government, as well as General Benali BENALI, Commander of the Republican Guard, Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence, Force Commanders, Commander of the National Gendarmerie, Commander of the First Military Region, Chiefs of departments, directors and Chiefs of central departments of the Ministry of National Defence and the staff of People's National Army, as well as Senior state officials , national figures and Moujahideen.
At the beginning, the attendees listened to the national anthem performed by the Republican Guard musical band, then watched a documentary film entitled: “November our doctrine” produced by the Directorate of Information and Communication of People’s National Army Staff, before they visited a photo exhibition organized for the occasion that lists the various stages that the Glorious Liberation Revolution has taken since Its outbreak until independence.
