The President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence inaugurates the Mother and Child Hospital at Beni Messous in the 1st MR
Mr. President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid TEBBOUNE, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, accompanied by General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, presided On 1st November 2023, the inauguration ceremony of “The Army’s Mother and Child” Hospital, at Beni Messous in the 1st Military Region, where He was received by Major General Commander of the 1st MR.
At the beginning and after the reception ceremony, the President of the Republic listened to the national anthem and was presented with honour by formations of various Forces of People's National Army, after which he greeted his recipients from the central directors of the Ministry of National Defence and the staff of PNA, as well as senior executives from the military health services. After that, Mr. President oversaw the official inauguration of this specialized medical facility, “The Army’s Mother and Child Hospital,” and he also followed a detailed presentation about its components, given by Major General, the Central Director of the Military Health Services, and another presentation that touched on the hospital information system. Mr. President after that watched a film about this hospital institution and the departments it includes, such as the Department of Maternal and Child Medicine, the Department of Haematology and Cancer for Children, the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, as well as the Department of Paediatric Surgery, in addition to the Social Medical Services Circle.
Mr. President then inspected on the ground the various facilities and structures of this specialized hospital institution, which represents a modern model that conforms to the international standards applicable in implementing such projects.
In conclusion, the President of the Republic highlighted this specialized medical facility, which is considered a qualitative addition that came to strengthen the national health system.
