In the context of the continuing efforts to combat terrorism and organized crime in all its forms, units and detachments of People’s National Army carried out, during the period from the 02nd to 07th November 2023 several operations crowned with high quality results which reflect professionalism, vigilance and permanent availability of our Armed Forces throughout the national territory:

      Within the framework of the fight against terrorism, detachments of People's National Army were able to arrest (05) elements supporting terrorist groups during separate operations across the national territory, while (12) homemade bombs were discovered and destroyed in both Tebessa and Ain Defla, as well as two (02) Kalashnikov submachine guns during a combing operation in Tindouf .

      Within the framework of the fight against organized crime and in continuation of the tireless efforts aimed at confronting the scourge of drug trafficking in our country, joint detachments of People’s National Army, in coordination with various security services during operations across the military regions, arrested (67) drug traffickers and thwarted attempts to introduce (06) quintals and (88) A kilogram of treated kif crossed the border with Morocco, while (327,132) psychotropic tablets were seized




      In Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, and In Guezam, detachments of the People's National Army arrested (227) persons and seized (26) vehicles, (204) generators, (65) jackhammers, and (09) quintals of gold ore and stones, in addition quantities of explosives, detonation tools and equipment used in illicit gold panning operations, while (37) other people were arrested and (27) hunting rifles, (12,973) liters of fuel, (145) tons of food materials intended for smuggling and speculation, and (03) quintals were seized of tobacco and (26,025) units of various beverages, during separate operations across the national territory



      On the other hand, (199) illegal immigrants of different nationalities were arrested across the national territory
