October 17th, 1961.. A minute's silence observed in the memory of El CHOUHADA

      On the occasion of National Migration Day, corresponding to the sixty-second 62nd Anniversary of the Massacres of 17th October 1961, and in implementation of the decision of the President of the Republic, the Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces and the Minister of National Defence, stipulates the observe of minute's silence, in the memory of El CHOUHADA of the Massacres of 17th October 1961, just like the the other state institutions, the headquarters of the General staff of People’s National Army, Forces Commanders , and Military Regions, observed a minute's silence on the souls of El CHOUHADA who fell victims of the barbaric suppression of peaceful demonstrations carried out by the Algerians in France.

  

      This stand, which took place in all units and structures of People's National Army, falls essentially within the framework of the keenness of the High Command of People's National Army to preserve national memory and instill the values of the Glorious November Revolution in the souls of the personnel.
