Following the remarkable results achieved by the Nation's Cadets in the Baccalaureate and Middle School Certificate exams, June 2024 session, where the pass rate reached 97.95% for the Baccalaureate and 100% for the Middle School Certificate, Mr. General Said CHANEGRIHA, Chief of the People's National Army Staff, presided over a ceremony of distinction on Saturday, 10th August 2024, at the National Army Club, in honor of the Cadet winners. Present at the ceremony were the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defense, Commanders of Forces and the National Gendarmerie, the Commander of the 1st Military Region, Heads of Departments of the Ministry of National Defense and the People's National Army Staff, Directors and Heads of Central Services, as well as the parents of the award-winning students and school teachers.


On this occasion, Mr. General delivered a speech in which he conveyed the congratulations of the President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defense, to the successful Cadet schools for their excellent results in this session. He also personally congratulated the cadets for their remarkable success:
"In light of the remarkable results achieved by the Cadet schools in the Baccalaureate and Middle School Certificate exams, June 2024 session, I am pleased to address you, the Nation's successful cadets, to convey the congratulations of the President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defense, who urges you to achieve even more success and excel in your academic and professional careers. I, in turn, extend my sincerest congratulations to you and all your fellow successful cadets, for this well-deserved accomplishment, which is the result of the efforts and perseverance you have shown throughout the school year."
Additionally, Mr. General highlighted that this success was a natural outcome of the comprehensive and visionary approach adopted by the High Command in enhancing the army's capabilities. He also mentioned the female cadets who, like in previous years, achieved a pass rate of 100%:
"This success is a natural result of the comprehensive and forward-thinking approach we have adopted to enhance the capabilities of the People's National Army, focusing on key areas, including training at all levels. We consider qualified human potential to be a winning investment, capable of advancing the modernization and development process of the People's National Army, and elevating its readiness to the desired levels.
On this occasion, I express my pride for the female cadets who, like in previous years, achieved a pass rate of 100%, demonstrating unwavering determination and ambition in attaining this success, which will undoubtedly set them on a path towards a brilliant professional career and integration into all areas of the military profession. This success reflects the sustained efforts we have undertaken to encourage female personnel to occupy the position they deserve at all levels and in all fields, by involving them in the global development efforts of all components of our armed forces."
Following the ceremony, the award-winning students and some teachers were honored.
At the end of the ceremony, an opportunity was given to a male Cadet and a female Cadet to deliver two speeches on behalf of their peers, before Mr. General took a commemorative photo with the honored Cadets.
