General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of PNA Staff on a working and inspection visit to the 3rd Military Region
Within the framework of the regular visits to the different Military Regions, and monitoring the execution of the combat preparation program for the year 2023/2024, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of PNA Staff, is carrying out a working and inspection visit from today, Tuesday 23April 2024, to the 3rd Military Region .
The visit began from the South Tindouf Operational Sector, where after the welcome ceremony given by Major General Mustapha ISMAILI, Commander of the 3rd Military Region, the General delivered an orientation speech, broadcast by videoconference to all executives and staff in the Region and through which he conveyed to them the greetings, esteem and thanks of Mr. President of the Republic Abdelmadjid TEBBOUNE, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, before emphasizing that combat preparation is the gateway to the expected development, availability and operational performance:
“I take the opportunity of this visit to convey the greetings, esteem and thanks of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, to all the personnel of this Region, mobilized on every part of its borders.
The availability that we are working to achieve on the ground, at the level of this important region, with all that it includes in terms of operational devices and combat units, requires compliance with the combat preparation requirements in all its forms, branches and specialties.
The reason is that among the power elements, which have certain results and proven effectiveness, to which the PNA reserves a particular interest, appears combat preparation, which represents the access portal towards the expected development and availability, as well as towards operational performance which corresponds to the nature of the assigned missions”.
The General stressed that the PNA ensures, in the light of regional and international developments, to undertake rational and thoughtful steps, based on the combination between the acquisition of combat skills and high professionalism:
“With a view to continued adaptation to the evolving situation in our regional and international environment, and to effectively confront new threats, we have begun a global preparation which has affected the different components of PNA, with the mobilization of human and material resources, with the aim of defining the contours of the future development of PNA battle corps.
Within the PNA, we have made these rational and thoughtful steps a daily gesture which combines the acquisition of combat skills and high professionalism, through continuous training and the execution of exercises of different types. , with faith in the national cause, loyalty to the oath of the Chouhada, the imbuing of patriotic values, the sense of sacrifice and the defense of the vital interests of the country in all circumstances”.
At the end, the General inaugurated a multi-purpose room and inspected the Djoundi Circle and units under the South Tindouf Operational Sector, where he gave the personnel a set of directives and orientations relating, in particular, to the continuation of combat preparation activities, aimed at enabling the PNA battle corps to reach the level of excellence, in all areas, emphasizing the imperative of tightening the grip on smuggling activities and organized crime, in all its forms.
