2nd day of the visit of General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of People’s National Army Staff in the 3rd Military Region.
On the 2nd day of his working visit to the 3rd Military Region, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of People's National Army Staff, supervised, at the manoeuvre polygon of the Operational Sector "Colonel Lotfi », the execution of a tactical exercise with live ammunition, in the frameworck of the execution of the combat preparation program for the year 2023-2024.
Accompanied by Major General Mustapha SMAILI, Commander of the 3rd Military Region, the General followed a presentation about , objectives and stages of execution of the exercise, presented by the Commander of the Sector, director of the exercise.
Then, the General closely followed the progress of the said exercise, which was carried out by the organic units of the “Colonel Lotfi” Operational Sector. The combat actions carried out in all phases of this exercise were characterized by professionalism and a high tactical-operational level, which reflect the great combat capabilities of the crews and commands, particularly in terms of optimal exploitation of the terrain and interoperability between the units involved. The execution of this exercise also highlighted the skills of the executives in terms of mounting and conducting combat actions, as well as the mastery, by the crews, of the various weapon systems and equipment provided. The results of this exercise were very satisfactory, reflected in the precision of the shots from the different weapons.
At the end of this exercise, the General congratulated the personnel of the units involved for the enormous efforts made in the preparation and execution of the exercise, which was a success. In this context, he instructed them to carry out an objective evaluation of the exercise for optimal exploitation of the positive results recorded with a view to guaranteeing the operational availability of the battle corps in this sensitive Military Region.
Finally, the General reviewed the units that participated in this exercise.
