General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of PNA Staff presides the opening of the annual meeting work of Materials executives
General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of People's National Army Staff presided, this Sunday, 28th April, 2024, at the Material’s Higher School of /1st MR, the opening ceremony of the annual meeting works of Materials executives.
At the start, and after the welcome ceremony, General, Chief of People's National Army Staff, accompanied by Major General Ali SIDANE, Commander of the 1st Military Region, and in presence of the Controller General of the Army, the Chiefs of Departments and Central Directors of the Ministry of National Defence and the General Staff of People's National Army, followed a presentation given by the Central Director of Materials Arm, relating to the results of the logistical actions carried out for the 2023-2024 financial year, as well as the prospects for developing the performance of the Materials Arm in the years to come.
Subsequently, the General delivered an orientation speech, broadcast by videoconference to the units of the Central Materials Directorate across the six Military Regions, in which he expressed his satisfaction at chairing the work of the annual meeting of Materials executives, in order to inquire about the progress and execution of the Workload Plan of this important Directorate and to make an exhaustive assessment of current activities in the field of unit logistics of the Battle Corps of People's National Army:
“I would like, first of all, to express my satisfaction at supervising today the work of the annual meeting of Materials executives, which I was keen to chair, in order to inquire about the state of progress and execution of the Load Plan of this important Directorate, to make an exhaustive assessment of the current activities in the field of logistics of the units of the Battle Corps of People's National Army and to evaluate its contribution to the development of the capabilities of People's National Army and the enhancement of its availability”.
The General stressed, on this occasion, that the perfect fulfillment of the responsibilities of our Armed Forces, in the current circumstances, is based on the concerted action of all and the federation of efforts, with all that this implies in terms of vigilance and assiduity in the execution of assigned missions with the precision and rigor required:
“The acquisition of factors of force and operational availability is not such a difficult undertaking, as long as the actions of each person and their efforts are concerted, and each military personnel, whatever the responsibility he assumes, accomplish his missions with professionalism.
As such, and with a view to allowing our Armed Forces to fully discharge their responsibilities, in the current circumstances and in all circumstances, you are called, like all the components of People’s National Army , to be fully attentive and vigilant and that each of you works to accomplish the missions assigned to you and carefully ensures that they are carried out with the precision and rigor required, through the efficient and optimal exploitation of the human and material resources made available to it”.
At the end, the General announced the official opening of the work of this meeting and listened to the interventions of the executives of the Central Materials Directorate.
The General then inaugurated an electronic shooting range, where he followed a presentation and extensive explanations on this platform which will be dedicated to training and will host national military shooting competitions. He also inaugurated an accommodation block for female students at the Materials Higher School.
