As representative of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid TEBBOUNE, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, Mr. General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of People's National Army Staff began his official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by taking part this Sunday, 4th February 2024, in the opening ceremony of the second edition of the “World Defense Show”, which is being held in the capital Riyadh from 04th to 08th February 2024.


      At the end of the official opening ceremony of the Show, supervised by His Highness Prince Khaled Ben Salmane, Minister of Defence and Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), General visited with the delegation accompanying him the various pavilions of the show, where he notably inquired, during this first day, about the stands reserved for the Saudi Society of Military Industries (SAMI) which exhibits different modern equipment and weapons systems such as armoured vehicles, and followed with great interest the detailed explanations and presentations presented by the representatives of this company.


      This international event in which 66 companies specializing in the defence and arms industries are participating, coming to exhibit the most modern equipment and the latest generation military technical solutions, will allow the Algerian military delegation to learn closely about the latest innovations relating to the military industry.
