Within the framework of the humanitarian missions, units of the Coast Guard of the Naval Forces Command intervened following the receipt by the National Centre for Surveillance and Rescue Operations of the National Coast Guard Service of the Naval Forces Command a distress signal, Sunday 11th February 2024 at 7:30 a.m., coming from a sea dredging vessel, bearing the name “NOVADRAGAMAR”, flying the Spanish flag and reporting being in danger one (01) nautical mile north of the town of Fouka in the Wilaya of Tipaza, on board two (02) sailors of Portuguese nationality and one (01) other of Dominican nationality.
