3rd day of the visit of General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of PNA Staff to the 2nd Military Region in Oran

      On the third and final day of his visit to the 2nd Military Region, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People's National Army, visited the Aeronautical Construction Establishment in Oran.

  

      After being welcomed by Major General Mahmoud LARABA, Commander of the Air Forces, and in the presence of Major General Mohamed Tayeb BRAKNI, Commander of the 2nd Military Region, the General was given a comprehensive briefing by the Commander of the Air Forces on its missions, workshops and infrastructure, including production lines and repair workshops, as well as safety instructions.

  

  

      The General then visited the establishment, where he inspected the production lines and received detailed explanations from managers and technicians on the various prototypes manufactured at the establishment, such as the Safir-43with four-seats and the Firnas-142 two-seater aircraft, before inspecting the repair workshops and other facilities.

  

  

  

      At the end of the visit, the General met the military and civilian personnel and delivered a speech to them, in which he expressed his satisfaction with the visit to the establishment, and appreciated the considerable efforts made to fulfil the missions assigned in the field of aeronautical construction and repair.

  

      "First of all, I would like to express my satisfaction at this meeting, which gave me the opportunity to visit and inspect this industrial establishment in the 2nd Military Region, reflecting the interest I take in constantly monitoring the performance of the economic and production establishments belonging to People's National Army.
      I have always made a point of visiting this industrial unit, which is a national leader in its field, and of finding out about its operations in person, as well as encouraging and supporting the efforts made by its staff in carrying out the sensitive tasks assigned to them in the field of aeronautical construction and repair. These efforts will strengthen the readiness of our Armed Forces and maintain their operational capabilities in the face of various dangers and threats, as well as effectively combating any emergency situation, whatever its nature and origin".


      The General valued the achievements and milestones reached in all areas of planned activity, and urged managers and staff to make greater efforts to achieve more qualitative results:

  

      "I value the achievements and milestones reached so far, in all the areas of activity programmed, and I expect the managers and staff of the Establishment to make more efforts, in order to obtain more qualitative achievements, and to ensure the maintenance, according to the prescribed standards, of all the modern and high-tech production lines in endowment".

      At the end of the speech, the General listened to the concerns and proposals of the establishment’s staff, and gave a series of recommendations and general guidelines to the audience, before signing the establishment’s guest book and taking a souvenir photo with the staff of this industrial establishment.
