At the VIP lounge of the Houari Boumediene International Airport, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of People's National Army Staff attended this afternoon of January 20th , 2024, the release body and the recitation of the Fatiha on the soul of the deceased Major General AHSENE Slimane, former Deputy Commander of the 6th Military Region, in the presence of the General, Commander of the Republican Guard, the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence, Commanders of Forces and National Gendarmerie, the Commander of the 1st Military Region, the chiefs of Departments and the Directors and chiefs of Central Services of the Ministry of National Defence and People's National Army General Staff and members of the family of the deceased.



      The funeral oration was delivered by the Brigadier General, inspector of the Directorate of Information and Communication of PNA General Staff, who praised the virtues and qualities of the deceased and recalled his rich and honourable as a senior executive of People's National Army.



      In this painful circumstance, the General reiterated, in his personal name and on behalf of all the executives and staff of the People's National Army, his sincere condolences and his deep compassion to the family of the deceased, praying to Allah the Almighty to grant him His Holy Mercy and lend strength and patience to his family.
