Mr. President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence presides over a reception ceremony at the Army’s National Circle.

      On the occasion of the celebration of the 62nd anniversary of Independence Day and the Recovery of National Sovereignty, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence presided over the evening of Friday 5th July 2024, at the Army’s National Circle in Béni Messous-Algiers, a reception ceremony in honor of senior executives of People's National Army in activity and retirement, in the presence of senior officials of the State, as well as guests of Algeria among the friends of the Glorious Algerian Revolution.

  

      Mr. President of the Republic was welcomed, at the entrance to the Army’s National Circle, by General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of People's National Army Staff.

  

      The President of the People's National Assembly, the President of the Constitutional Court, the Prime Minister and members of the Government, as well as General Benali BENALI, Commander of the Republican Guard, the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence, the Force Commanders, the Commander of the National Gendarmerie, the Chiefs of Departments, the Directors and Chiefs of Central Services of the Ministry of National Defence and the General of People's National Army Staff, alongside senior state executives, national personalities and Moujahideen.

  

  

  

      On this occasion, the audience listened to the National Anthem performed by a musical troupe of the Republican Guard and followed a documentary film entitled: "New Algeria...a new era and a glorious future", produced by the Directorate of Information and Communication/EM-PNA, before visiting a photographic exhibition retracing the different stages of our Glorious Revolution, from its outbreak to independence.

  

  

  

      The ceremony ended with a fireworks show marking the event.
