Third day of the official visit of General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of PNA Staff to Qatar
On the third day of his official visit to Qatar to participate in the 8th Edition of the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference "DIMDEX-2024", General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of People's National Army Staff, was received on Tuesday 5th March, 2024 by His Highness, Sheikh Jasem Ben Hamad Al Thani, personal representative of His Highness the Emir of the State of Qatar.
During this meeting, in which Mr. Khaled Ben Mohamed Al-Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, and Mr. Lieutenant General Hamad Ben Ali Al-Attiyah, took part, Advisor to His Highness the Emir for defence affairs alongside members of the Algerian delegation, the General expressed his sincere thanks to his host for the warm welcome and hospitality reserved for him, before conveying to him the greetings of Mr. President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence addressed to his brother, His Highness Prince Tamim Ben Hamad Al Thani, and through him to all the brotherly Qatari people :
"At the beginning, I would like to express to you my deep gratitude for this welcome you have given me. An opportunity that I take to convey to you the greetings of your brother Abdelmadjid TEBBOUNE, President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defence, who attaches particular importance to the promotion of our bilateral military relations in all fields of common interest."
General Saïd CHANEGRIHA mentioned on this occasion, the field of military cooperation which unite the armies of the two countries and which is experiencing great growth under the unwavering aegis of the leaders of the two countries, and in the light of their will common to promote it more and more and bring it to the desired level:
"In this regard, it is appropriate to underline the remarkable level of political relations between Algeria and the sister state of Qatar, and which constitutes a motivation for our two armies to move forward on the path of military cooperation in tune with this distinguished and promising political rapprochement between the two countries.
To this end, we can affirm that we have been able, thanks to these mutual visits at different levels, to draw up the milestones for our future bilateral relations in various areas, which will be able to enable us to identify together possible areas of cooperation and mutually beneficial."
For his part, His Highness, Sheikh Jasem Ben Hamad Al Thani said he was very delighted with Algeria's participation in this Exhibition, represented by the Chief of Staff of People's National Army, promoting the high level of military cooperation between the two brotherly countries, which reflects the high degree of understanding and trust that characterizes relations between Algeria and Qatar in more than one way.
