Within the dynamic of sustained efforts in the fight against terrorism and against multifaceted organized crime, units and detachments of People's National Army executed, during the period from 20th to 26th March 2024, several operations which led to high quality results which reflect the professionalism, vigilance and permanent availability of our Armed Forces throughout the national territory:

      As part of the fight against terrorism, detachments of People's National Army arrested (02) elements supporting terrorist groups, during two separate operations across the national territory.

      Within the framework of the fight against organized crime, and in continuation of sustained efforts aiming to thwart the scourge of drug trafficking in our country, combined detachments of PNA intercepted, in coordination with the various security services during operations distinct executions across the Military Regions, (29) drug traffickers, and thwarted attempts to introduce (12) quintals and (83) kilograms of treated kif coming from the borders with Morocco, while (325,406) psychotropic tablets were seized .



      In Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, In Guezzam, In Salah et Djanet, PNA detachments arrested (247) individuals and seized (24) vehicles, (96) generators, (50) jackhammers, one (01) detector of metals, as well as quantities of explosives, detonation tools and equipment used in illicit gold mining operations. Likewise, (17) other individuals were intercepted and one (01) submachine gun type Kalashnikov, (02) automatic pistols, (01) hunting rifle, (22,717) litters of fuel, (524) tonnes of foodstuffs intended for smuggling and speculation and (13) quintals of tobacco were seized, during separate operations, across the national territory.



      Furthermore, PNA detachments arrested (540) illegal immigrants of different nationalities across the national territory.
