The 2nd day of the visit of General Said CHANEGRIHA, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of PNA Staff, to the State of Kuwait.
On the second day of his official visit to the State of Kuwait, General Said CHANEGRIHA, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of People’s National Army Staff, was received today, 25th November 2024, by Sheikh Fahd Youssef Saoud Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Minister of the Interior of the State of Kuwait.
The audience, which took place in the presence of the Deputy Chief of the Army Staff, senior officials of the Kuwaiti army, the Algerian Ambassador to Kuwait Mr. Abdelkader Kacimi EL HASSANI and members of the Algerian military delegation, was devoted to assessing the state of bilateral military cooperation between Algeria and the State of Kuwait, two countries that share strong and distinguished fraternal relations, embodied by the moderate and honorable positions of the two brotherly countries with regard to international and regional issues.
During this meeting, the General expressed his consideration and gratitude for the warm welcome reserved for him and his delegation, hoping that this visit will contribute to deepening the cooperative relations between the two countries.
The General conveyed to Sheikh Fahd Youssef Saoud Al-Sabah the greetings of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, Mr. Abdelmadjid TEBBOUNE, reiterating his aspiration to raise bilateral military cooperation between the two armies to the highest levels.
For his part, Sheikh Fahad Youssef Saoud Al-Sabah expressed his joy at receiving General, and his satisfaction about the level of understanding that characterizes bilateral relations between the two countries on several regional and international issues, an understanding that can be further strengthened by expanding the areas of cooperation in the future.
General Said CHANEGRIHA, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of People’s National Army Staff, also met with the Deputy Chief of Kuwaiti Army Staff, Major General Pilot Sheikh Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
During this meeting, which took place in the presence of senior officials from both countries, the two parties discussed bilateral military relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them in a future perspective that takes into account the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
On this occasion, the General delivered a speech in which he praised the exceptional welcome given to him and his delegation by the Kuwaiti authorities, emphasizing the density of relations between the two brotherly countries and the disposition of People’s National Army to establish a solid and lasting partnership with the brothers of the State of Kuwait.
For his part, the Deputy Chief of Kuwaiti Army Staff congratulated the General of the Army on his appointment as Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of People’s National Army Staff. Furthermore, he expressed his satisfaction with the level of understanding that characterizes the bilateral military cooperation relations between the two countries, which could be further strengthened through this visit, before thanking the General for honoring this invitation.
Subsequently, the General visited the Mubarak Al-Abdullah Joint command and Staff College, where he received comprehensive explanations about this important military training institution, as well as the training and instruction programs provided. In this regard, the General expressed his appreciation of the level of this training structure, expressing the wish to lay the foundations for future bilateral cooperation, which will allow the exchange of experiences with the Kuwaiti brothers in the field of training.
At the headquarters of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defence, the General had a meeting with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Meshaal Al-Sabah, during which the two parties discussed the distinguished bilateral relations that the two countries maintain and the means of strengthening them in a forward-looking approach that takes into account the interests of the two brotherly peoples and the historical and fraternal relations that unite them.
