Mr. President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence presides over a reception at the National Circle of the Army.
On the occasion of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the Glorious Revolution of 1st November 1954, Mr. President of the Republic Abdelmadjid TEBBOUNE, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence presided over, during the evening of Friday, 1st November 2024, at the National Circle of the Army of Béni Messous, a reception in honor of High executives of People's National Army in service and retired, and high responsables of the state. Mr. President of the Republic was welcomed, at the entrance of the National Circle of the Army, by General CHANEGRIHA Saïd, Chief of People’s National Army Staff
The ceremony, which is part of the great traditions of People's National Army aimed at highlighting the key dates of our glorious history and in tribute to our valiant martyrs, was attended by the President of the Council of the Nation, President of the Constitutional Court, the Prime Minister and members of the Government, as well as the Commander of the Republican Guard, the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence, the Force Commanders, the Commander of the National Gendarmerie, the Commanders of Military Regions, the Chiefs of Departments, the Directors and the Chiefs of Central Services of the Ministry of National Defence and the General Staff of People's National Army, alongside senior state officials, national figures and Moujahideen.
At the beginning, the audience listened to the National Anthem performed by a musical troupe of the Republican Guard and watched a documentary film entitled: "It was truly our duty", produced by Directorate of Information and Communication of People's National Army Staff. The guests attended an aerial parade of drones, illustrating various paintings and symbols of the history of Algeria, concluded by a fireworks show.
