On the third day of his official visit to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, at the invitation of his Mauritanian counterpart, Lieutenant General El Mokhtar Bolle Chaabane, the General visited The G5 Sahel Defence College and the Polytechnic Complex of Nouakchott.


      This visit to these two training centres was an opportunity for the General and the delegation accompanying him to inquire about the Mauritanian experience in the field of high-level military and scientific training. On this occasion, the General received detailed presentations on these two establishments and comprehensive explanations were provided to him on their departments and missions.


      Subsequently, the General visited the headquarters of the General Staff of the Mauritanian Armies, where he co-chaired, along with Lieutenant General El Mokhtar Bolle Chaabane, the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol between the armies of the two countries in the field of intelligence exchange, between the Central Director of Army Security of the General Staff of People's National Army on the Algerian side and the Chief of the Intelligence Division and Military Security of the General Staff of the Armies on the Mauritanian side.



      At the end of this meeting, the two parties exchanged symbolic gifts.
