Fight against terrorism.. Arrest of four (04) terrorists operating in the Sahel region
In the context of the fight against terrorism and thanks to the efficient use of intelligence, the security services of the National People's Army have arrested four (04) terrorists operating in the Sahel region, within the Tamanrasset Military Sector in the Sixth Military Region. The terrorists are Sekkouni Ibrahim, also known as "Taklou," Laalaoui Mohamed, also known as "Ouedha," El-Aaloui Ahmed, also known as "El-Khattab," and Terkzi Ahmada, also known as "Didi."
In a related development, a terrorist named Okba Kounta Sid Amar, also known as "Abou Nacer," surrendered to the military authorities of the Bordj-Badji Mokhtar Operational Sector. He was in possession of:
These operations further demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach adopted by the National People's Army and the efforts made by our armed forces on the ground to combat the remnants of terrorism in our country, and to ensure security and tranquillity throughout the national territory.
In a related development, a terrorist named Okba Kounta Sid Amar, also known as "Abou Nacer," surrendered to the military authorities of the Bordj-Badji Mokhtar Operational Sector. He was in possession of:
- One (01) Kalashnikov-type submachine gun;
- Two (02) loaded ammunition magazines;
- One (01) radio communication device.
These operations further demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach adopted by the National People's Army and the efforts made by our armed forces on the ground to combat the remnants of terrorism in our country, and to ensure security and tranquillity throughout the national territory.
