On behalf of the General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of Staff of People's National Army, the Major General Mohamed Salah Benbicha, Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence, presided, today, Tuesday 12th august 2025, over the inauguration ceremony of the new headquarters of Fuels Central Directorate of the Ministry of National Defence in Algiers, 1st Military Region.


      The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Chief of the Organization-Logistics Department, Fuels Central Director of the Ministry of National Defence, as well as the Directors and Chiefs of Central Services of People's National Army General Staff and of the Ministry of National Defence. After the inauguration ceremony, the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence received a comprehensive presentation on the Directorate before visiting the various infrastructures of the new headquarters.


      During his meeting with the executives and the staff of the Fuels Central Directorate, the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence emphasized the crucial and the important role of the Fuels Central Directorate in providing logistical support and supplying with the various petroleum products the formations and units of People's National Army battle corps throughout the national territory, to ensure a high level of operational readiness.


      At the end of the ceremony, the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence signed the Directorate's guestbook.
