As part of the sustained efforts in the fight against terrorism and multifaceted organized crime, units and detachments of People's National Army carried out several operations between 17th April and 22th , 2025, resulting in high-quality that reflect the high professionalism, vigilance, and constant readiness of our Armed Forces throughout the country:

      As part of the fight against terrorism and thanks to the efforts of People’s National Army units, detachments of People’s National Army seized two RPG-7 rocket launchers and four submachine guns type Kalashnikov at the 6th Military Region, while other PNA detachments arrested twelve terrorist group support personnel in various operations across the country.


      As part of the fight against organized crime and in continuity with the sustained efforts aimed at countering the scourge of drug trafficking in our country, combined detachments of People's National Army intercepted, in coordination with the various security services, during operations carried out across the Military Regions, (38) drug traffickers and thwarted attempts to introduce (9) quintals and (57) kilograms of treated kif from the borders with Morocco, while (310,506) psychotropic tablets were seized



      In Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar and In Salah, detachments of People's National Army arrested (254) individuals and seized (33) vehicles, (141) generators, (102) jackhammers, (7) metal detectors, as well as quantities of raw gold and stone mixture, explosives, detonation tools and equipment used in illicit gold mining operations. Similarly, (13) other individuals were arrested and (3) automatic pistols, (17) hunting rifles, (22830.) liters of fuel were seized, during different operations.


      Furthermore, the Coast Guard thwarted illegal immigration attempts on the national coasts, (2035) illegal immigrants of different nationalities were arrested across the national territory.
