Major General Mohamed Salah Benbicha, Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence, receives the Vice-President of the Russian Defense and Security Committee of the Algerian-Russian Parliamentary Friendship Group
Major General Mohamed Salah Benbicha, Secretary General of the Ministry of National DefenCe, received in audience on Tuesday, 15th April, 2025, at the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defence, Mr. Iurii Vallaev, Vice-President of the Russian Defense and Security Committee of the Algerian-Russian Parliamentary Friendship Group, accompanied by a high-level delegation.
On this occasion, the two parties held bilateral discussions in the presence of the Chief of the Procurement Department and the Director of External Relations and Cooperation of the Ministry of National Defence, alongside members of the accompanying Russian delegation. Discussions focused on areas of common interest, such as the joint commission responsible for military and technical cooperation. Both parties also praised the excellent bilateral relations and the mechanisms for consultation and cooperation between the two countries.
At the end, the two parties exchanged symbolic gifts.
