Kickoff of the International Military Cross for ''Men and Women''
Major General HASSNAT Belkacem, Chief of Employment-Preparation Department of People's National Army Staff, supervised today, Sunday, 20th April, 2025, the launching ceremony of the "International Military Cross for Men and Women" at the Preparation and Gathering Centre of Military Sports Teams Chahid ''Messaoud Boudjriou'' Ben Aknoun /1st MR. This event saw the participation of military teams from Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.
At the beginning, in his opening speech, and on behalf of the General, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of People's National Army Staff, the Major General, Chief of Employment-Preparation Department of People's National Army Staff, welcomed the participating delegations. He also emphasized that this international sports competition represents a strong lever for strengthening military cooperation.
The tournament, which will take place on Monday, 21st April, 2025, on the golf course of the Mohamed Boudiaf Olympic Complex in Algiers, will be an opportunity to promote African military sports and another platform for strengthening military cooperation between the participating countries.
