6th day of visit of General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the National People's Army in the Republic of India
On the sixth day of his official visit to the Republic of India, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of People's National Army Staff, was received today, Monday, 10th February 2025, by Mr. Rajnath Singh, the Indian Minister of Defence.
During this meeting, which was attended by senior officials from both sides, the two parties discussed bilateral military relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them to best serve the supreme interests of the two brotherly peoples.
On this occasion, the General conveyed to his host the greetings of the President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Forces, Minister of National Defence, before recalling the history of Algerian-Indian relations that date back to Algeria's struggle to regain its independence and sovereignty.
For his part, Mr. Rajntath Singh reiterated his country's readiness to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the military field, particularly through this visit.
